These applicants are foreign nationals that come to Canada to participate in international business activities without the need for a work permit
However, a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) or an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) may be required.
Eligibility Criteria
Staying in Canada less than 6 months
Do not plan to enter Canadian labour market
Main source of income is outside of Canada
Have enough money for their personal travel and are not a criminal, security or health risk
Some examples include
Taking orders for goods or services
Buying Canadian goods or services for an international company
Attending fairs, conferences or meetings
Being trained by a Canadian company for work outside of Canada
